Make a Difference
Hafa Adai MHS Community Partners, It is a pleasure to seek your support on behalf of Marianas High School, the largest and one of the longest tenured institution of learning in the CNMI. Today, MHS boasts a robust population of over 1,500 students, faculty, and staff. We strive to maximize our student impact while enhancing programs to support college and career readiness.
Over the years, MHS students have produced various notable academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Several have received the prestigious and nationally sought-after Scholarships, while our Aeronautical Dolphins have twice won national championships in the STEM-focused Real World Design Challenge. The MHS Polksai Chamorro Club helps preserve local culture by boasting over fifteen years of dominance at Chamorro Language Competitions in Guam. The Rhythm -N- Harmony Glee Club has placed in numerous international musical competitions and has swept awards at the Tumon Bay Music Festival for the past seven years. Furthermore, MHS student artists have won the past eight Congressional Art Competitions, and we regularly send the largest contingency of CNMI students to compete in the National Speech and Debate Association and International Thespian Society national competitions. Such opportunities for accomplishment are afforded to our children only through the generosity of our island community.
Educational Tax Credit funds have been used to support students travel expenses to national competitions, building maintenance repairs, transportation of students, staff training, classroom maintenance and supplies and other operational needs. We plan to do even more as our students continue to excel and embrace opportunities to compete nationally.
We humbly ask you to support MHS through the Educational Tax Credit (ETC) program. Using the ETC, taxpayers, both businesses and individuals, can make donations to the Public School System, reference MHS to give the ETC funds, and receive a tax credit receipt. With your support, we can continue to strive towards excellence, and most importantly, help transform young lives in the CNMI for the better! If you have any questions or concerns, please email jonathan.aguon@cnmipss.org or call 237-3202.
On behalf of Marianas High School and all our students, we thank you and look forward to your response. Our Mighty Dolphin Family has set a standard for excellence for years, and continues to dream bigger and aim higher. With your partnership, we have no doubt that these dreams can become a reality.
